I just wanted to give a shout out to all of you wonderful bloggers who have followed me and supported me! Thank you because without you, this would all be very pointless.
You all have inspired me in some form or another to continue to write and I appreciate those of you who have remained loyal to my blog! Writing is a passion for me, it’s a part of me and it fills that void when I cannot say in person what I need to say. It has made me into who I am today, it brings me great joy to share the hardships, the fun, the happiness, the stress, the issues of the world and to share that with everyone who is in need of hearing the words they wish they could express. I love each and every one of you so Thank You!!
Realism is something that describes me to the core. I’m a hardcore realist and often times people mistake me for being a pessimist or negative. Allow me to explain.
When I was a child, I always saw things for what they were. Starting at around age 10, I can remember that I never understood people who were overly positive or overly happy and I couldn’t understand people who constantly used the word “hope”. It was an odd thing to me, I had always seen the world for exactly what it was, a mess.
I had a decently good childhood, had both parents and had a lot of what I wanted growing up. I enjoyed keeping it simple though when it came to friends and life in general. I can remember that I was a happy kid for the most part. However, when things went wrong, they went truly wrong and I knew immediately that it was the hands I had been dealt. I was always taught to be totally honest and I believe that’s what jump started my realism. I’ve had people say to me “You know there’s a such thing as being too honest” and I never understood that comment and I still don’t.
I’m the kind of person who doesn’t at all believe in sending “positive messages into the universe”. I think it’s an odd thing to do. The universe doesn’t have feelings and it doesn’t understand concepts and therefore, you’re basically talking to a brick wall. I don’t believe in a positive/negative world. I believe that the world is what it is and there’s not “but” to that. As the world continues to get worse, you’ll occasionally find a few people who are good people but, you’ll also find wolves in sheep’s clothing.
I have a really good and sweet friend who’s very positive most of the time and she truly believes that positivity and working towards dreams pays off and I think it’s absolutely wonderful. It’s made her the person that she is that I love so much however, that’s not at all me and so there’s a conflict of interest. I think she’s sort of drifted away from me, the more that she see’s I’m not one of those sending messages into a universe kind of person. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate her input and I believe in a creator, I just don’t feel the need to bother God with my issues.
For some people, Realism is a conclusion that you come to when you’re tired of trying so hard for nothing. When your cards are always stacked against you and you find more crap in life than gold. The majority of the time you’ll find that the best people, the one’s who are always helping others are never being helped back. They are the person who gets called on for every thing and when they need something, you can hear crickets chirping. It’s the easiest way to find out who your friends are. Now, the people are the most arrogant and smug, they are the one’s who have everything in life. They have thousands of people they can turn to for anything and they’re the one’s who don’t appreciate it. Those are also the people who are quick to say they are living the American dream.
I have found that many of those who preach “Hope, Dreams, Prosperity and Positive messages” are the one’s who have been successful for so long, they don’t remember a time they had nothing. They believe in their entire soul that all of that is what got them where they are. When in fact, it’s usually some form of luck, people who basically threw money at you or your dreams or some other form of good card dealing.
In conclusion, Realism is basically knowing your limits and the limits of others, staying grounded (not having your head in the clouds), staying true to your roots and being honest with others and yourself. It doesn’t mean that you’ll never be successful, it means that you’re not expecting it and therefore you won’t be disappointed.
Many times on the internet you’ll find the master troller. This is someone who’s always looking for a good argument and usually they are there to piss you off. You’ll meet a lot of these people on Yahoo Answers and YouTube. You know they are the person who’s always commenting on everyone’s comments and making it seem like you’re the idiot.
I recently met one right here on WordPress. He’s a man who felt I was being ignorant and babbling about the Transgender conflict blog. Imagine that, someone comes onto your blog and calls you ignorant. Well, that’s the world today. My faithful blog readers know that I’m always saying exactly how I feel. There’s nothing wrong with anyone saying how they feel, it’s your thoughts and you’re entitled to them. Sure, you’re always going to strike a chord with someone and everyone won’t be happy with what you write but, nevertheless, you shouldn’t change how you feel to make everyone else happy.
Trolls can come in all forms, they are the one’s who write stupid and outrageous comments just for the heck of it. For instance, on Yahoo Answers I saw a question that said “Is it legal to name your child McNugget?”. It’s trolling post like these that will often spark laughter and entertainment. Then you have trolls that enjoy seeing you live in misery. They will make comments to try and push you into anger. These are the kind of people who have nothing better to do and their life sucks more than anyone else’s in the world.
No matter what kind of trolls you meet, you have to maintain your composure. It’s more difficult if you don’t have your own emotions under control and you may lash out in anger and some people lose their shit so bad they actually start making legit threats towards the troll. These are things that you absolutely can’t do. The person on the other end is never worth it.
For the past year, I have been feeding the homeless and buying basic neccesities for them. Homelessness is a huge problem and though it’s easy to just walk past someone on the street or follow the stigma that they are on drugs or alcoholic’s, I’ve found by sitting down and talking with them that many of them had it all, then disaster struck and they lost everything. Without an address, a phone number and a way to clean up, no place will hire them. The homeless deserve a second chance, help me to buy their basic neccesities and continue feeding them. I can’t do it alone and even if you chip in a dollar, it’s a dollar that goes towards the basic human right that everyone has. I do not specifically give them money, any and all funds will go straight to buying “Emergency packs”, blankets and food for them. Thank you for any donation!
I think it’s important to talk about many of the hypocritical American people concerning language. You’ll often find many cocky Caucasians who believe that the United States should only allow English speakers. They try to further justify this by stating “This is America”, “English is the official language”, “If we went to some other country, we would have to learn the language”. It’s amazing the pure ignorance surrounding America, The United States and Language. First let me help educate you concerning all of the things listed above.
#1 – English – A language primarily spoken in Europe brought to the America’s long after others were already settled here including the Native American’s and the Mexican’s. Europeans came over and claimed they discovered a land that people already lived on. They brought English with them meanwhile, the Mexican’s who were already in what is now the United States were not only living in many of the states the non-Hispanics claim, they were also speaking Spanish. The Native American’s had their own languages while they too shaped the United States. Europeans were the immigrants.
#2 – The United States does not have an official language. The main reason for this is that many people have migrated to the U.S. and brought with them whatever language they already speak. The reason why English only would not be beneficial to anyone is that it holds you back. People should be passionate about learning as many languages as they can, it’s a great thing for future generations that stem directly from you, you’ll also get a much higher paying job and you’ll be more intelligent.
#3 – If you went to some other country, you would have to speak their language
WRONG! Many countries speak English and do not mind foreigners who do not speak their language. They are more welcoming and more helpful than cocky American’s.
There are so many memes out there portraying this ridiculous notion that this should be an English only country. Ignoring the true Native’s of this country, who built this country, long before the Europeans “discovered” it, is senseless and ignorant. You have today so many people loosely using the words illegal immigration and it’s targeted primarily to Hispanic’s. Amazing, the Hispanic’s worked, built and cultivated many of the U.S. states long prior to the white’s coming to the U.S., during the Mexican-American war, many Hispanic’s were forced out of the land they worked so hard to build and are now considered “illegal”. Native American’s were forced onto reservations and blocked from any help from the new immigrants who came in and took over. Now, the land is being destroyed by cocky American’s who are determined now more than ever to fight the Native’s of this precious land. It’s a terrible injustice to those who worked incredibly hard to make this land what it is.
So in closing, before you share that meme, think twice about what you’re actually saying. You’re doing nothing more than spreading hate to those who made this country.
I feel the need to write this blog about my experience with the powerful antibiotic Levaquin. You see, just a mere 3 weeks ago, I took Levaquin for the first time ever. It was prescribed to me by a doctor on the app Doctor on Demand who felt it would be good for a UTI. Little did I know, one pill would change my life forever.
A few hours after taking the pill, I knew something was wrong. I had taken a nap after taking the medicine and when I woke up, it literally felt like there was a big cactus in my throat. My throat was swollen and I was badly dehydrated. I ended up having to drink 7 bottles of water to rehydrate myself enough that I felt somewhat normal. A short while later, I noticed that my muscles were getting very weak and it felt like someone was stabbing me with a hot knife in my arm. Worried, I contacted the doctor on doctor on demand and they gave me Benadryl, imagine that, a medicine you give to kids and adults who have rashes. It did nothing for me, the next day I could barely move. When I tried to stand up, I fell sideways. The muscles in my legs were too weak to hold me up and I was basically skidding across the floor with a cane and a hunched over back position. It became to the point that I could no longer stand and I knew something went horribly wrong. I had someone to research Levaquin for me who found out that there’s actually lawsuits against Levaquin and other drugs similar like Cipro for exactly what I experienced. Again, I spoke with a doctor on demand who told me that I needed to go to the emergency room immediately and that I was having a serious allergic reaction.
Well, it’s been a few weeks and though I can walk better now, I’m in terrible pain. My muscles are extremely weak, everything feels like I just exercised for 5 hours straight and the pain never ends. I get very little sleep despite medicine that I’m on to control the pain, despite heating and ice pads, despite muscle relaxers. I continue to get weaker everyday. I realize now that taking Levaquin without doing my research is literally life changing.
I’m not the only one who suffers from injuries from Levaquin and other medicines like it. It’s not a safe drug and it needs to be taken off of the market completely. Now I’m left disabled and suffering and I can’t play with my 2 year old son anymore, I can’t run, hell I can barely walk. This medicine has destroyed my body, one pill and I’m stuck like this. Please get the word out, I don’t want anyone else to be hurt by this drug.
I decided to write this blog to talk about my struggles of believing in God. You see, I’ve always been one to express how I feel unfiltered but, I try to do it in a way that’s not offensive or overbearing. I don’t push my beliefs on anyone unless I’m confronted. I often have the worst time on YouTube. I’m watching something religious and I scroll down to make a comment and there it is, the dreaded angry atheist who’s decided to come on the video’s simply to harass the Christian’s. It seems that we’re often attacked for most everything and that despite having proof of false claims through evolution, the arguments continue and what you find is a very stubborn person who will talk themselves into sounding intelligent. I often seem like a paranoid person because, it seems like every where I go to comment, there’s that dreaded angry atheist following me around and making comments on everything I say. I’ve been called ignorant, cold hearted, a bitch, useless, trash and anything else you can imagine. It’s odd that no matter whether I’m calm and collective or angry and bitter, I often get the same verbal abuse. I often grow tired of the struggles of being a Christian. I find though that the ignorance lies in those Atheists who are just looking for a fight. Often times, they have no basis for their anger and the assumption is always made that God is a pixie fairy or some other fairy tale creature and that Christian’s are all bible thumping Jesus freaks who kill others in the name of God and who abuse their children by threatening hell. Those are all ridiculous baseless claims that have no other purpose than to make the Atheist ego bigger.
Not all Atheists have a problem with Christian’s and some are actually very polite and agree to disagree. Others create ridiculous Facebook pages like “The Flying Spaghetti Monster” in which they post despicable pictures of Christ or Christian kids, in compromising positions often accompanied by hateful captions. I see no purpose in that what-so-ever. If you truly don’t believe there is a God, is it necessary to constantly mock, use his pictures that are created and to fight Christian’s?
Scientists are constantly trying to disprove God and they have so far failed. They have come up with some ridiculous calculations and confusing explanations which most Atheists will say “Sounds reasonable, let’s remember this and use it in an argument”. It’s basically having faith in man, having faith in those who are easily making mistakes. So I guess in a way, you could consider it a religion. They have faith in man, we have faith in God. If people knew me, they wouldn’t be so quick to hate on me. I have no problem with other religions. I have friends that are Catholic, Muslim, Atheists etc. We don’t talk about what we believe and it’s up to each person to decide what will their life be like. However, if I’m on a Christian video, I don’t want to deal with Atheists who are angry and who have weaned their way in just to bash others. I’m like “Stay on your own videos and we’ll stay on ours”. The most hate comes from them, much more than people using God to hate others. These are all events that are described in the bible in which Atheists claim is fake garbage. The Bible has provided many insights as to what would occur and it does so with high accuracy in which people of that time couldn’t have possibly known what was to come or to even guess what would happen thousands of years later and therefore, yes I believe that God gave them that information. The big bang certainly didn’t, there were no Scientists back then to make up crazy calculations, monkey’s certainly weren’t guessing. There is a lot of evidence to support God but, those who hate him will argue.
In closing, I just want to say that we should all make an effort to get along and stop crossing the line with each other.
