My Intolerance of people

Published August 11, 2015 by Amplio Recorrido

Stressed

If you have a general intolerance of society or people or you know someone who has this problem, please read this blog to find out more about it, straight from someone who has the problem.

Over the years I’ve lost a lot of people that meant everything to me. People who died and it took a toll on me. I started growing an intolerance to people as I started losing people. The people who meant everything to me, were the people that I could look up to in order to have a good goal in mind of what I wanted to be like. Not that I need to copy someone else but, when you have positive people in your life, you tend to want to be somewhat like them. When those people started dying off, I felt like I didn’t have anyone that I could model their behavior and therefore, I gained an intolerance to people.

My views of people are many and usually negative. I have an intolerance to people who behave badly, scream in public, ignore their kids who are destroying stuff or screaming, fighting among couples, an annoying husband who yells at his wife to come on 20 times in 10 seconds, people who scream at strangers on the road or in cars, who don’t listen, who always do the opposite of what you say, those who play the victim all of the time, those who choose to be “clueless or stupid” when they really are just lazy and oh I could go on and on.

As I’m getting older and the people I cared most about have almost all died off, I find myself heading in a direction that I don’t necessarily like but, I’m also indifferent to what people think about me too. For the simple fact that I don’t do any of the things that I hate from others, I somehow expect people to just get it together and stop acting like complete assholes! I’m sorry for the language but, if I’m passionate enough to write about it then you know it really bothers me.

I do not have an intolerance to the elderly, small children or the mentally/physically handicapped. They all have reasons for their behavior and it usually cannot be controlled and therefore, it would be unfair of me to be impatient with them.

I often wonder why people act the way they do. Do they not realize what an obnoxious person they are being? Can they not control their behaviors and their respect for people around them? I almost always avoid society and being in public. When I do go out, I find myself more stressed out and annoyed even after completely minimizing my time out. When I get of public, I feel a sense of relief and for the same reason, I don’t drive. I cannot stand people on the road, they are inconsiderate and dangerous and so if I could avoid being on the road at all, I would!

So this blog is based around my “at minimum” thoughts which basically means, these are my generalized thoughts and feelings and this blog isn’t a complete explanation of what I go through. However, I hope that it’s of some value to you and that you can somewhat understand my point of view. Thank you!!

Mother in Law rampage returns!

Published January 9, 2015 by Amplio Recorrido

A couple of weeks ago, my mother in law returned to her house with the Jehovah’s Witnesses and she picked up her things and we took her to her other son’s house. After we got close to his house, there was an argument about her religion and I believe I wrote about this when it first happened. It was the first time that I was so angry with her, I couldn’t say another word and decided I was completely done. So, my husband continued talking to her every few days over the phone but, I wanted nothing to do with her because of all the stress she has caused us. Now, she’s wanting to return to our house to stay and i’m honestly not having it!

We had to go to the city she lives in yesterday to go to the doctor and of course my husband decides to drop by her house and pick her up. We were driving around after my appointment and she waits until my husband gets out of the car and says “I need to talk to you”. I knew then that she was going to say something about the organization because she loves to catch me when I’m alone.

So she proceeds to tell me that she wants to return to our house but, that I’m not allowed to say anything else about her or the Jehovah’s Witnesses that she won’t tolerate it and that I make her uncomfortable and I’m in an outrage at this point. I said to her “This is not about how you feel, this is my home and I don’t want you or your material in my house”. So she ignores what I said and then says “I want to come back and you can take me to my Kingdom Hall meetings twice a week”. i was like No way! NO NO NO! I don’t want anything to do with her organization. I’m at the bottom of the rope now.

When we returned home after dropping her off, I told my husband that she doesn’t run the show around here and that I don’t want her back here staying and that I’m not taking her to Kingdom Hall and neither is he. if he wants something to do with her, he can do it over the phone or outside this house. Yes, this blog is a complete rant because as most of you know, I’m running on nothing at this point and I have no more patience for this. We cannot stay around each other or in the same house period!

The Odd Things About People

Published November 11, 2014 by Amplio Recorrido

Have you ever noticed that many humans are the same? How about that many humans do the same things as other humans? Here’s a list of things humans do

Many people ask questions and answer their own questions. Have you ever noticed this? For example: “Do I think this will happen?” “Yes of course”. “Do I think that this will be the end?” “Yes, I do”. Now I have always thought this was odd because, why would anyone ask a question just to answer it? Why not just say “I believe this will happen or I believe this will be the end”.

Many people use their hands to attempt to make signals to tell you what they’re saying. Have you noticed that? Some people have a lot of trouble talking without using their hands and it’s odd because the language being spoken is completely understood particularly, if 2 people who speak the same language are in conversation and therefore hand signals are completely unnecessary. (I’m not referring to people who use sign language in attempt to have a conversation with the hard of hearing)

Many people tell nearly every single thought on Facebook or other social media. Have you noticed that people cannot even take a shower without posting it on Facebook? It’s also now become widespread to post personal photo’s on Facebook such as breastfeeding, in heated sexual poses or even naked/half naked pictures.

Almost everyone automatically “lines up” in a grocery store. Now you might say, yeah but you’re required to stand behind another person in line. Actually, you’re not really required but, people do it automatically after going through 12 years of schooling where everyone was forced to “line up”.

Many people who are in a waiting room of any kind pull out their cell phones within 5 minutes of sitting down. Have you ever noticed this? If not pay attention to it next time. We are a generation of “looking down”.

People will automatically start scratching if they see someone else doing so or if they see any type of bug near them or on them and that stays with the person long after the “threat” is gone. Also, mention to anyone that you’re itching and they will start itching within a few minutes.

If you know of anything else that people do that seems to be a copy of others, please leave it in the comments! Thanks!
