Social Media

Published October 15, 2015 by Amplio Recorrido

I decided to write a blog about Social Media because, there are a few things that are important when deciding whether or not social media is for you.

#1 – Social Media can be helpful if you’re only using for it is games and to talk with friends/family.

#2 – Social Media isn’t for anyone who can’t handle conflict. Know that every single comment you make on any page concerning Facebook, you will be ridiculed for it regardless of your intentions.

#3 – Social Media contains every person you can imagine and that includes all of the bad people.

So today I’m going to focus on point #2. When it comes down to using Facebook and liking pages, you have to be aware that there are going to be various people commenting. In particular, when you’re looking at news Facebook pages, you’re going to see various stories which are upsetting to people in different ways. There are several different types of scenarios that will happen regardless of the subject of the news story.

#1 If it’s a “racially motivated” crime, you’ll never hear the end of it. You’ll always find that if it’s blacks who had a crime committed against them, they’ll load the comments and be ready to fire at the first person who says anything other than “That’s sad to hear”. You’ll be attacked so fast for making any comments that can possibly be skewed as racist and you’ll definitely hear “You’re part of the problem”. They are already waiting for any white to come along so they can vent that anger and race card so be prepared.

#2 Any crime against children. Now normally this would be loaded with people who believe the molester should be killed and that’s to be expected but, you’ll also find a lot of Atheists in there too who are loaded and ready to bash Christian’s for everything they are worth. Any type of disaster that involves the death of someone, be prepared to have some Atheist troll ready to attack you and God. If you’re not Christian, this won’t bother you.

#3 Like with all news stories, you’re going to hear similar stories. In this case, if you’re tired of hearing someone killed, raped or robbed someone, you probably should avoid liking pages with news stories. As far as other types of pages go like for instance movies, know that once you hit the like button, you’ll automatically have your news feed filled with either old scenes from that movie through pictures or loaded with really old comments. It can become obnoxious if you’re only wanting to say that you have seen the movie.

Social Media can be fun, frustrating, depressing and it can also be a nightmare. There’s nothing more dramatic than talking to people on Facebook. I primarily talk about Facebook and not other sites like Twitter because they aren’t loaded with trolls like Facebook is. You’re going to find that there are so many people out there who use Facebook as a way to bully others, to vent their frustrations against a certain race or a religious person and that’s all they will ever do. If you’re not careful, they will actually follow you all around Facebook relentlessly and comment on everything you comment on. It becomes like a game for them to torture you. If you still think Facebook or other social media is for you, just use caution and known that you can deactivate and reactivate your account at any time and make sure that you block anyone who you notice is harassing you or following you around.

Outlawed Christian’s.

I want to talk to everyone concerning Christian’s vs Atheists due to a high amount of harassment and threats towards Christian’s. I think this is important because, I too am a victim of this.

bully

I’m a Christian and I love God very much but, like many Christians, I’m being harassed and threatened on a daily basis for my beliefs. Let me explain. You see, every time I get on websites such as Facebook, YouTube, Yahoo Answers and so forth, as soon as someone finds out I’m a Christian I always get attacked. There are several statements that are always made by Atheists.

  1. “Screw you and your fake God”

  2. “You’re a faggot believing in that flying man in the sky”

  3. “You’re a dumb b****”

  4. “Your God is sadistic for allowing people to die and kids to go hungry”

  5. “Go f*** yourself and f*** your God”

Now those are just a few of the things I hear often and as you can see, they are very much inappropriate. All of that just for believing in God and I don’t understand it because, in the first place I’m not hurting anyone. My lifestyle doesn’t affect anyone else as I’m not pushing God onto them. I don’t go around quoting scripture or telling people they are going to hell so what’s the big deal?

There’s several reasons these people give for hating Christian’s and so many of them have nothing to do with me. For instance, any story of a “Christian” that has been involved in some sort of scandal including sexual assaults, that’s when the God bashers eyes light up and they go on full attack mode. Then, they often use God as if he’s the reason behind it. You also have people committing illegal acts in the name of God and therefore, God must be the reason behind it. What Atheists fail to understand is that those people have underlying mental issues and just because they hear a voice that says it’s God, doesn’t mean that it is and always isn’t God and therefore, just because someone says something like that for the reason they committed something heinous, doesn’t have anything to do with being a Christian.

The other side of this is people wanting to make arguments for Science, Darwinism and other views pertaining to the world. For instance, Richard Dawkins had one of his many rant events and he looked up and said “God if you’re real, you’re welcome to come down and join us and show yourself” and then everyone burst into laughter. They believe it’s incredibly funny to say ridiculous things. Nevermind that, it’s their problem and not mine. The point is, if you’re going to be an ass, be one in the mirror and not towards innocent people. I can’t prove to you that there’s a God as my experience with God, is greatly different than someone else’s. I have my own personal reasons for it and it has nothing to do with coercion, preachers, church or anyone else.

Regardless of your thoughts on God or the lack thereof, you do not have the right to make someone else’s life miserable. The people out there who are Atheists or claiming to be one are obsessed with seeking out Christian’s and running them into the ground. They laugh, mock, threaten and carry on as if they are some billy badass. You’re not, you’re just an ass. The world is incredibly messed up at this point. We as a society especially the God believers are expected to give up all of our rights. We’ve had our bible classes, bible and any other religious material stripped away from our children in schools and have replaced it with homosexual materials which we are forced to “accept”. Recently, there was a story going around the internet about a school that was reading a story to elementary student’s about Gay Marriage. So, we’re sending our kids to school to learn about gays and “equal rights” and not anything educational. More and more small children are having sex, being taught they are transgender and gay/lesbian/bi. I’m sorry but, no child should be coerced or forced into being an adult in a child’s body. I do not believe that any elementary child should be involved in any adult issues including sex of any kind or learning about sex of any kind that includes heterosexual sex. Children at that age shouldn’t be learning anything that’s not going to benefit them in the future.

I’m not expecting that children be against those who are adults and choose to be homosexual, I’m against children learning about all of the different things that homosexual and heterosexual couples do at a young age. I’m concerned that children are becoming pregnant at even the youngest ages of 11 years old. I’m concerned that Christian children aren’t allowed to quietly read their bible in school or wear a cross necklace because it makes people butthurt who are afraid of their Atheists children becoming Christian. That’s hate too, that’s what people don’t get. When you’re not accepting a child who believes in God and you’re teaching your children to bash those who believe in God, you’re creating bullies. I do not endorse any bullies and that includes children who are forced into a homosexual lifestyle, a Christian lifestyle or an Atheist lifestyle. We need to get ourselves worked out and stop infringing on the rights as children to just be children! If you want to bash me for that, go ahead! It has nothing to do with my believing in God, it’s about being human and being moral in all ways.

Thank you for reading my blog.

The dreaded debate: Atheists vs Christians

Published October 11, 2014 by Amplio Recorrido

As I have come across a multitude of news stories and videos that seem to be targeted more towards Christian’s, I have found a multitude of comments where Atheists have crossed into videos of Christian’s and use them as a platform for their hatred towards God and all that Christian’s believe in. As I have spoken to some of these Atheists, I realize that many of them are angry at God for one reason or another and so they have decided that, if he “Can’t perform miracles” in their life then he must not exist. Then you have the classic statement “God is a fairy tale” or “He’s as real as Santa”. It seems that sometimes it’s easier to just follow others than to stand out in a crowd. Christian’s become offended that Atheists came into their “zone” to begin with and there starts a war.

On the Atheist hand, they believe that Christian’s are infringing on their rights and that all Christian’s are hypocrites who are trying to deceive others into believing a “fairy tale”. There are organizations like the Freedom from Religion Foundation who are fighting hard to have prayer and bible study removed from schools. They spend all of their free time on either terrorizing Christian’s for their beliefs, mocking Christian’s or simply putting their opinions out there. Often times when a war erupts over beliefs, Atheists begin to curse at those who believe in God.

During all of this, there are many crimes going on currently that are targeting people with certain beliefs. “The quickest way to start a war, is to start a conversation with religion” (Quote by me). Even if there’s nothing that indicates religion, it will still quickly become the subject because, all it takes is for someone to make the comment “God bless them” or something similar and let the war begin. Then you have others who are completely confused about what they believe as, I came across a young man recently who claimed to be Atheist and at the same time claimed to be demonic. I can either assume that he doesn’t know what Atheism consists of or he’s trolling the internet. That’s what makes all of this so difficult, figuring out who’s just having a bad day and wanting to be a trouble maker vs those who are serious about what they are saying.

If you visit http://answers.yahoo.com and you go to the Religion and Spirituality section, you will find the wars that I’m referring to. Thousands of questions which erupt in all out wars over the belief in one thing or the lack there of. It seems that no one can live in peace due to the senseless arguments with strangers. I think people will forever debate what’s really going on in the world and people will never share one core belief but, there has to be a way to at least calm the situation so that wars like this don’t turn into more real life violence.

As for me, I believe that Christian’s should leave Atheists (and other non believers) alone and vice versa. If everyone stayed in their own “zones”, things wouldn’t get out of hand. Please leave me your comments and tell me what you believe and what you think, you will not be judged by me.
